The Common Good Group

The Common Good Group are aiming to create a market place that helps manage the commons for our common good.

Team

The team are Sacha McMeeking, Sean Weaver, Murray Ward and Anake Goodall.

What they’re doing and why

The Common Good partnership is aiming to create a common good market place: like a green grocer for good, the team will trade in products that are quantified and verified outcomes that contribute to our common good. The market place will innovate on existing payment for ecosystem services and voluntary carbon markets, to create more market resonant credits across a broad range of ‘common goods’. The marketplace will be a new route for CSR, impact investment and importantly, provide a stable revenue stream for NGOs and entrepreneurs working for our common good. The team are in a prototype phase, aiming to deliver proof of concept by delivering two pilots, that will determine demand, supply and a trading mechanism.
