Helping find out how much green giving there is in New Zealand

The first stage of this project was to research and analyse the quantity and quality of environment and climate change related giving in New Zealand. Hikurangi worked with ASB Community Trust and Saints research to do this. The survey of Philanthropists in New Zealand is now published: Green Grants Research Report.

The Second stage has been to facilitate the formation of a network of philanthropists who wish to exchange ideas and explore how environment can be integrated into giving in New Zealand. If you are a grant maker and interested in being part of this network, please contact us.
